As a citizen service station on the Huangpu River waterfront space, the site was located on the side of the landscape steps of the west pier of Shanghai Port Passenger Centre. Not far from the site is the newly constructed World Hall, and close to the unique Hongkou Riverside Lighthouse. From here, you can also enjoy the Pudong Lujiazui building complex and the Bund historical building complex, which represent the economic, historical and cultural development of Shanghai. 

作为滨江岸线上规划的一处市民服务驿站，项目基地被选定于上海市虹口北外滩国客码头第一分段西侧台阶的侧方。选址不远处便是新落成的世界会客厅，近处亦有独树一帜的虹口滨江灯塔。从此处眺望，更是可以同时饱览代表上海发展的浦东陆家嘴建筑群和上海历史底蕴的外滩历史建筑群。正是在如此优越的选址条件下，建筑本身的姿态似乎已经“那么不重要”了，而更希望能以建筑的“无形”去成就所处之处的“有形”。
